About me

For over 25 years, I have been passionate about contributing to a more just and sustainable world where everyone has the chance to flourish.

Throughout my career, I kept discovering: creating social change, also requires inner change.

I am inspired by Vimala Thakar, Indian spiritual teacher and social activist. She said:

"Because the source of human conflict, social injustice, and exploitation is in the human psyche, we must begin there to transform society”

This led me to make a conscious shift in 2024. I wanted to understand more deeply how processes of inner change and personal growth work and how I could best support others on their journey.

That is why I am currently enrolled in a two-year professional program to train as an Integrative Counselor at the Dutch Academy for Psychotherapy in Amsterdam.

My work further builds on the insights and teachings of renowned therapists such as Thomas Hübl, Esther Perel, Gabor Maté, Deb Dana, Richard Schwartz, and Tara Brach.

I also draw from my own personal and spiritual journey. In addition to various leadership programs, family constellations and couples therapy, I have explored yoga, meditation, and the insights of modern mystics.

I have experienced the healing power of stillness and nature. Also, I have discovered how psychedelics can offer profound insight and connection to something larger than ourselves.

I believe in the importance of creative expression. For me as an aspiring poet that is writing poetry. I also love  weaving the wisdom of my favourite poets into my work as a counselor.
