Approach
Real change starts from within
That is why we dig a little deeper. We look at both what you can do and what is holding you back from the inside. That is what creates lasting change.
You can think of the process like gardening. Sometimes – just like in the garden – you need to dig a little deeper. Not just pruning above the surface, but getting to the root of the issue.
You are the gardener. I am just here to help you dig a little deeper when this is needed.
“It takes a bit of courage and it may not always be comfortable – but you remain in charge of how deep you want to go”
Integrative approach
As a counselor, I work from an integrative approach. This means I do not follow a fixed method or protocol, but I focus on what you need in the moment.
We look at you as a whole: your behavior, emotions, thoughts, what your body tells you, and how you relate to the world around you – and to yourself.
Throughout the process I will help you utilize all the qualities and inner resources you have at your disposal.
I draw on insights and proven methods from positive psychology, neuroscience, cognitive behavioral therapy, body-oriented approaches, and various coaching techniques.
What does the process look like?
We start with a no-obligation introductory call to explore your question and to see if there is a good fit.
In the intake session, we map out what is going on and what you would like to achieve. The goal of this first session is clarity and a renewed sense of direction.
Based on that, we create a tailored plan so you can continue your path with strength, authenticity, and a greater sense of direction.
A typical trajectory includes five to eight sessions. Together, we determine what works best for you.
It is also possible to book a 5-day solo-retreat, combining intensive counseling sessions with time for rest and reflection in nature.
Good to know
My work is not intended for the treatment of deep trauma or serious psychological issues. If these come up during the intake or in our process, I will discuss this with you and help you find the right support.
